Please arrive at our office 10 minutes early. To simplify your first visit, please fill out our New Patient Form* online prior to your appointment.
*IMPORTANT: Any form submitted by email must be encrypted, to ensure it is secure. By submitting an unencrypted email form, you are consenting to an unsecured email. Alternatively, please print off the form, complete it, and bring it to our office.
Initial Examination
Your dentist will begin the appointment by reviewing your medical and dental history and completing a comprehensive dental exam, including a thorough examination of your gums, teeth, bite and jaw, an oral cancer screening, and any x-rays that may be required.
Treatment Plan
Based on the results of your history and exam, your dentist will develop a long-term dental treatment plan for you. At your first appointment, your dentist will also take the time to answer any questions you have about your dental health and treatment options.
Insurance & Payment Options
At Eckhardt Dental Centre, our administrative team will help you to navigate our payment options and direct billing to insurance companies, so that you can focus on getting your dental care.
- Direct Billing to Insurance
We offer direct billing for most insurance plans. For your convenience, we can submit your insurance claim electronically, resulting in faster reimbursement, without the need for paper forms and signatures.
Our administrative team can assist you in understanding your insurance policy and send estimates to your insurance company prior to starting any major treatments.
Please bring your insurance plan information with you to your appointment.

Please note that any co-pays or amounts not covered by insurance are your responsibility, and must be paid at the time of your appointment.
We accept payment by cash, debit or most major credit cards.

Yes. In the days before your appointment, you will receive automated phone, text or email appointment reminders from us. If you find that you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us as soon as possible to let us know.
- Does your office have on-site parking?
We have free on-site parking available for all our patients, and we are accessible by public transit.
